How to Get Pear in Grow a Garden

The Pear is a multi-harvest, rare crop first introduced in Update 1.01.0, and later reintroduced during the Summer Harvest Event.
It belongs to the Woody, Summer, Sweet, and Fruit crop categories, meaning it benefits from any item that affects those specific crop types.

Appearance

• Seed: Solid yellowish-lime color
• Plant: Similar in structure to the Tomato plant
• Fruit: Yellow or green bell-shaped body with a brown stem and dark green leaf

In Grow a Garden, the Pear is one of the rarest summer crops players can obtain during the Summer Harvest event. Unlike regular seeds, Pears cannot be collected or duplicated by grow a garden pets, such as the Red Fox or digging Dogs, because event seeds are exclusive to limited-time activities. This makes the Pear a truly special reward for dedicated gardeners who participate in seasonal events and carefully manage their summer crops.

How to Get a Pear in Grow a Garden

The Pear is a limited-time seed introduced during the Summer Harvest Update on June 21, 2025.
There are two main ways to obtain it — one free (but luck-based) and one paid:

1. Participate in the Summer Harvest Event
   • Every hour, a Summer Harvest event takes place.
   • Players can donate summer plants at the center of the island to earn Harvest Points.
   • At the end of the event, players receive random Summer rewards, including a Summer Seed Pack, which has a moderate chance of containing the Pear seed.
2. Purchase the Exotic Summer Seed Pack (Robux Method)
   • Available in the in-game Shop:
     • 1 Pack – 199 Robux
     • 3 Packs – 575 Robux
     • 10 Packs – 1,699 Robux
   • This pack also has a moderate chance of granting a Pear seed.

Note: Event seeds such as the Pear cannot be obtained through pets or digging.
The Red Fox and Dogs cannot duplicate or dig up event seeds.

Trivia

• When reintroduced, the Pear received one of the biggest buffs in the game:
  • Original value: Sheckle 550 → New value: Sheckle 18,050 (≈ 3280% increase).
• A collision bug once caused large Pears to make players move extremely fast or even teleport.
  • This also occurred with the Celestiberry and Raspberry.
  • It was fixed during the Summer Harvest and Mega Harvest events.
• A fully grown Pear produces at least one fruit per harvest, depending on the crop’s height, similar to the Tomato.
• The Pear is one of only two crops to become a main crop after its release, alongside the Banana.
